I led UI design, motion UX, and illustration at Talabat, optimizing micro-interactions and animations to enhance the user experience. Working with cross-functional teams, I ensured a seamless, engaging, and consistent design across the platform.
My story began over three years ago when I joined the central team to enhance the experience with my expertise. What you’re about to see is the old Talabat brand style, where I worked across multiple projects, focusing on bringing delightful engagement through motion and illustration.
From hero illustrations to spot icons, motion and micro-interactions brought them to life, making navigation more intuitive and enhancing user engagement across multiple flows in the app.
At the start of 2025, we launched the new Talabat rebrand, a massive effort across multiple disciplines and stakeholders. From my side, it meant a complete overhaul of all graphics, ensuring a seamless branding translation into product-ready visual communication.
Bringing motion and delightful enhancements into the new rebrand was a challenge, requiring a fresh mindset on how Talabat evolved its user experience. This shift was more than just visual it redefined interactions, engagement, and usability, making the experience more intuitive, dynamic, and aligned with the brand’s new identity.
I designed micro-interactions for the post-order experience, enhancing user engagement and feedback. These subtle animations added delightful moments, guiding users through order tracking, status updates, and confirmations.
Designed realistic icons for vertical entry touchpoints, combining AI generation, editing, and illustration for a unique, high-quality visual style.
Designed engaging empty state screens with illustrations enhancing clarity and guiding users through moments of no content or action needed.
