Terms, refunds and privacy.

Terms of service

Gardraw Studio is a trading name of GARDRAW FZ-LLC, a company registered in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates, under trade licence no. 47025842. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean GARDRAW FZ-LLC, and “you” means the person or company that subscribes. By paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

We design illustrations, micro-interactions and icons for apps and websites, on a monthly subscription. There are two plans, Starter and Growth, and their delivery times and revision rounds are set out in the pricing section of our website. We also take on custom projects: one-off work quoted on its scope. For a custom project, the scope, price, payment terms, timing and revisions are the ones in the quote we agree with you in writing.

2. Requests

• You can have one active request at a time. You put your requests in order on your project board, and we always work on the one at the top.
• One request is one clear deliverable, such as an animated spot icon or a single empty-state illustration. If a request is a big one, we split it into a sequence of smaller requests.
• A revision is a change to the request we delivered. A new idea is a new request.

3. Delivery times

• Up to 72 hours on Starter and up to 48 hours on Growth. For a custom project, the dates in its quote.
• We deliver Monday to Saturday, Dubai time. Sundays and UAE public holidays don’t count towards delivery times.
• The clock starts when we begin work on a complete request, one that has everything we need to start.
• Requests that are complete after 6 pm Dubai time count from the next working day.
• If a request is going to take longer than your plan’s delivery time, we tell you before the deadline and agree a new one with you.

4. Payment

• Plans are paid monthly, upfront, through Stripe. Our prices are set in UAE dirhams (AED), US dollars (USD), euros (EUR) and pounds sterling (GBP). Checkout charges in the one your country uses, and in AED if your country uses another currency. In that case Stripe may show the amount in your local currency, at its own exchange rate. The currency switch on our pricing changes only what the page shows. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month, in the same currency, until you cancel.
• Launch offer on Growth: subscribe by 31 December 2026 and your first month is AED 12,000 instead of AED 15,000 (USD 3,360 instead of 4,200, EUR 3,040 instead of 3,800, GBP 2,560 instead of 3,200). From the second month, Growth renews at its full monthly price. It’s for new customers, applies once, and is added for you at checkout.
• We are not registered for VAT in the UAE, so no VAT is added to our prices.
• If a payment fails, Stripe tries again and emails you. We keep working on your requests for 7 days. If it still hasn’t gone through by then, we pause work until it does. If it can’t be collected, the subscription ends.
• If we change the price of your plan, we tell you at least 30 days before your next payment. You can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Your part

• Send us clear requests, your brand files and your feedback in good time. Delivery times depend on it.
• Only send us material you have the right to use, such as logos, fonts, images and references. You are responsible for that material.
• Keep access to your project board and files to people who work with you.

6. Who owns the work

• You own everything we deliver to you, once the month it was made in is paid for. You can use it however you like.
• Our own tools, methods, templates and know-how stay ours.
• Anything made by someone else that we use in your work, such as a font or a stock asset, stays under its own licence. If it needs a licence on your side, we tell you before we use it.
• We only show your work in our portfolio or on social media if you give us permission.

7. Confidentiality

We keep your product details, files and anything else you share with us private, and only use them to do your work. If you need us to sign a non-disclosure agreement, ask us.

8. Liability

If something we deliver doesn’t match the request you agreed, we fix it within your plan’s revision rounds. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, revenue or data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited under UAE law.

9. Ending the subscription

You can cancel at any time, as explained under Refunds and cancelling. We can end a subscription if these terms are seriously broken, for example if payments stop or our team is treated abusively. If we end your subscription for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the month.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change affects current subscribers, we email you before it applies.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first at hey@gardraw.com, and we’ll try to sort it out within 14 days. If we can’t, the courts of Dubai will settle the dispute, unless the law gives it to another court in the UAE.

Refunds and cancelling

How to cancel

Email hey@gardraw.com or message us on WhatsApp and we’ll cancel it for you, or use the link to manage your subscription in any Stripe receipt email.

Pausing instead

If you need a break, ask us by email or WhatsApp to pause your plan instead of cancelling. While it’s paused there are no payments and no work, and your board and files stay as they are. Tell us when you’re ready and it restarts, with your next payment from that day.

When it takes effect

Cancelling stops the next payment. Until the end of the month you’ve already paid for, your plan carries on as normal and you can keep sending requests.

Refunds

Plans are charged upfront for the month ahead, so we don’t refund unused days or part of a month after you cancel. We do refund you in these cases:

• You were charged twice, or charged after you cancelled. We refund the extra payment in full.
• We end your subscription without you breaking these terms, or we can’t provide the service for part of a month you paid for. We refund the unused part of that month.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. They usually show on your statement within 5 to 10 working days.

After you leave

We hand over your files, and keep your project board and files for 30 days in case you need anything, then archive them. You can subscribe again at any time from the pricing section.

Privacy policy

GARDRAW FZ-LLC is responsible for the personal data described here. We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

What we collect

• When you contact us by email or WhatsApp: your name, contact details and what you tell us.
• When you subscribe: Stripe handles the payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, billing address, company name and phone number if you give them, and your payment history.
• While we work together: your brief, brand files and feedback, and the names and emails of the people you invite to your project board.
• When you visit this site: we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, how they found us and which pages and buttons they use. It sets analytics cookies, except for visitors in the EU, the UK and Switzerland, whose visits are counted without cookies. Google Analytics never gets your name or email, and we don’t use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider records basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address. Stripe’s checkout sets its own cookies, for payments and fraud prevention.

Why we use it

To provide the service you pay for, take payments, answer your messages, keep the business and tax records the law requires, keep this site secure, and see how the site is used. We rely on our contract with you, our legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it, such as before showing your work.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the studio: Stripe for payments, our website host, Google Analytics for visitor numbers, our email and messaging services (including WhatsApp), and the tools we use for project boards and design files. Some of them store data outside the UAE. We also share data if the law requires it. We never sell it.

How long we keep it

• Project files and boards: archived 30 days after you leave, and deleted sooner if you ask.
• Payment and billing records: for as long as UAE law requires us to keep business records.
• Messages from people who don’t become clients: deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it (unless the law requires us to keep it), and object to how we use it or withdraw your consent. Email hey@gardraw.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the UAE Data Office.

Keeping it safe

Only the people working on your account can see your files, and we use established providers that protect the data they hold for us.

Children

Our service is for businesses. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects current clients, we email you.
